Kill

Dreaming of killing, as a general term, can suggest that you have pent up anger or other negative emotions inside of you. You need to find a way to get rid of these emotions in a healthy way so that you do not explode out of rage.

Killing Someone / Something

If you kill someone who is defenseless, then this predicts that you will fail a challenge and be worse off for it.

If you kill someone or something out of self-defense, then this can suggest that you will overcome a challenge in your life and be rewarded for it.

Being Killed

If someone is killing you, then this can suggest that you dislike parts of your personality or physical figure. You want to “kill” these parts of yourself. If you actually have high self-confidence, then this can suggest that you feel hurt, like someone does not love you as much as you love them.

Killer

Seeing a killer in your dream can reflect a feeling of being attacked in your waking life. You may feel like someone or something is killing aspects of your personality. An unhealthy relationship or a draining job could cause this.

If for some reason, you feel happy when you see the killer, then this can suggest that you are killing off bad parts of your personality willingly, as an attempt to make yourself into a better person. This could suggest that you are doing a good job to change yourself.

Killer Whale

Seeing a killer while in your dream can suggest that you have extreme emotions (anger or sadness usually) that you need to get out of your system in a healthy way before they come out on their own in an unhealthy way. In the future, try to let out your feelings in small bursts so that they do not come out in one large explosion.

See Animal and Water* for further dream symbolism.

Kilt

Seeing or wearing a kilt can represent your feelings of wanting to belong in a family, surrounded by males who accept you and are like you in many ways.

Looking up the color of the kilt can also provide you with additional dream symbolism.

Kimono

Wearing a kimono in your dream reflects on your idea of Japanese culture. Your stereotypes, general ideas, and what you have learned about Japan and its people determine what the kimono stand for personally to you. For this reason, this sign has a different meaning for everyone.

Looking up the colors on the kimono may be able to provide you with additional dream symbolism. Also, see Clothes* for further dream symbolism.

Kindergarten

Going to kindergarten again in your dream can suggest that your life is filled with various burdens and responsibilities. You may wish that you could go back to a simpler time, like kindergarten, where you had less work to do and more time to play.

Alternatively, this dream could suggest that you have been acting childishly lately. You need to learn how to act your age; other people likely depend on you.

King

Having a good mood when dreaming of a king can suggest that you are filled with feelings of strength and authority.

Having a bad mood when dreaming of a king can suggest that you are in a battle with yourself. You may want to complete a goal, but you may not have the energy to do so or have something else going on that is holding you back. However, if you are able to make it through this challenge, then you are likely to be rewarded.

If a king is upset with you, then this predicts that you will be reprimanded by a superior for not doing your work correctly.

If you are married to a king, then this predicts that you will come into an uncomfortable romantic relationship, unless the king in your dream treats you well, which suggests the opposite.

Since a king is an authority figure, he could be representing another authority figure in your life, like your father or a boss.

Kiosk

Seeing a kiosk in your dream can suggest that  you are open to understanding other people’s point of views. You are an accepting person.

If you go to the kiosk, then this could suggest that you are looking for advice on a situation that you do not know how to deal with on your own.

Kiss

Kissing your partner in the dark can suggest that you need to watch out for people who might want to complicate your romantic relationships. Cheating is always bad. If you kiss your partner in the light, then this represents your love for your partner. This is a good sign.

If you are kissing someone somewhere other than on their lips, then look up that body part, or more generally, Body*  for further dream symbolism.

Cheating kissing

To see someone else kissing your partner can predict that you will be disappointed with something having to do with your romantic relationship. This does not mean that your partner is cheating on you. If either you or your partner is cheating in your dream, see Affair* for further dream symbolism.

If you are kissing someone else’s partner, then this can suggest that you are jealous of something that this other person has done, even if you are not actually jealous because of their love-life. This is a sign that you need to talk to this person about how you are feeling, especially if you have a close relationship with them so that your relationship is not damaged in the future. However, if you are actually attracted to this person’s partner in real life, then this is a sign that you need to back off before you ruin your and their relationship.

Kissing Someone Unexpected (But not Cheating)

If you are kissing someone who you don’t know in real life, then this can suggest that your morals are loosening. Make sure that you do not attach yourself to people who you do not know well. Stay true to your virtues. However, if the stranger kisses you first, then this can suggest that your ways are becoming more acceptable. You still might want to take this slow, though.

If you are kissing someone who you do not like, then this can suggest that this is a good time to start making up with this person. As bad as it might seem now if the two of you work things out, your relationship is likely to take a turn for the better.

Kissing a Family Member (Not incest)

Kissing a family member (in a non-incestuous way) can predict that your domestic life will be blissful. You are likely to complete your tasks with ease, and gain praise from your peers for accomplishing your tasks. To kiss a family member in an incestuous way, see Incest* for further dream symbolism.

Other People Kissing

If you see two people kissing each other, then this can suggest that you are being too nosy in your waking life. Try to mind your own business. The more that you stick to yourself, the less likely you are to be caught up in other people’s drama.

Forcibly Kissing

If you are being forced into kissing someone, then this can suggest that you are being forced into things that you don’t want to go through with. This is a sign that you should start to stand up for yourself in your waking life. If you are forcing someone to kiss you, then this can suggest that you need to back off, because you are likely forcing someone to do something that they don’t want to in real life.

Kitchen

If your kitchen in the dream is clean, then this can predict that good luck will enter into your domestic life in the near future.

If your kitchen is a mess, then this can predict that you will rush because of some sort of an emergency in the near future. This is likely to leave you feeling exhausted and stressed out.

If you are cooking and things go well, then this can predict that your domestic life will flow smoothly. If you ruin the meal, then this can suggest the opposite. Looking up what you were cooking can also provide you with additional dream symbolism.

Kite

Dreaming of making a kite can suggest that you are lying to others to make yourself seem better. You could be doing this for attention, fake that you have a higher social status, or for a number of other different reasons.

Dreaming of flying a kite predicts that you will come into some money and enjoyment, but that there will be no guarantee that it will last. If your kite goes so high that you cannot see it, then this can suggest that your goals are too high up. It is best to get goals that are more realistic so that you do not end up disappointed when things don’t work out. To dream that your kite falls down can suggest that you are preparing to fail at a task; you do not have enough self-confidence. If you cannot get your kite in the air in the first place, then this can suggest that you need to try harder to obtain your goal, even if it may seem impossible.

If another adult is flying a kite, then this can suggest that you feel like someone else is controlling your destiny. You may feel like it is not up to you whether or not you succeed or fail.

If children are playing with kites, then this can suggest that your life is going well at the moment. Take the time to enjoy yourself. See Children* for further dream symbolism.

Kitten

Kittens, in general, suggest that your life will have some sort of change in the near future. Depending on what the cats are doing, this could be a good or bad change.

To see healthy kittens are a good sign, so long as you are happy in your dream. This can suggest that the possibility of damage is all around you, but that you have been able to avoid it so far, and you are likely to keep avoiding it for a while longer. This means that you can stop stressing out about simple things and instead, try to enjoy yourself.

If the kittens are being annoying in your dream, then this can suggest that other small things are annoying you in your waking life and causing you stress. If you are able to get away from the kittens or have them stop being annoying, then you are likely to overcome the annoyance in your waking life. If not, then prepare to deal with it for a while longer.

Looking up the color of the kitten in your dream can also provide you with further dream symbolism. Also, see Cat* for similar dream symbolism.

Kiwi (Bird)

Seeing a kiwi bird in your dream can suggest that you are trying to avoid someone or something for some reason.

See Bird* for further dream symbolism.

Kiwi (Fruit)

Using a knapsack, in general, can suggest that you are carrying around your emotions with you. If the knapsack is light, then you are likely feeling light. If your knapsack is heavy, then this suggests that you feel burdened by your emotions, like you have too much weight on your shoulders. You are likely feeling overwhelmed if this is the case.

Seeing or wearing a knapsack can suggest that you feel the happiest when you are in the company of your friends.

If the knapsack is worn and dirty, then this can predict that bad luck will come your way in the near future.

Knee

Knees, in general, are a bad sign. This suggests that you cannot help yourself on your own. You need help from others if you want to make it through the week. The appearance of your knees can vary this symbolism, though.

If your knees look nice, then this can suggest that others are likely to find you attractive.

If your knees are ugly, then this can suggest that you will become ill in the near future, or you will become disappointed about something.

If your knees hurt, then this can suggest that bad luck is about to come your way. The same fate awaits you if your knees are too large.

See Body* for further dream symbolism.

Kneel

To dream that you kneel in your dream can suggest that you are easily influenced by others. You are not trying to push your own ideas on others, and you will take in/at least tolerate other’s ideas. You are a humble person. This is good at times, but make sure that you stand up for yourself when you need to.

Knife

A knife represents the cutting feelings that are hidden inside of you. Your negative emotions are trying to find a way out, and this is likely to end in some disasterly way if you do not learn how to express your emotions in a healthy way.

If you are cut/stabbed by a knife, then this can suggest that someone has emotionally hurt you in the recent past. You are still healing from the wound, even if you are denying that you are. If you cut someone in your dream, then this can suggest that you have emotionally hurt them. See Cut (Injury) or Stab* for further dream symbolism.

If the knife is sharp, then this can suggest that your feelings are bitter, or that you have coldly hurt someone. You may be worried about something if you are using a sharp knife. If the knife is dull, then this can suggest that you need to cut yourself off from some part of your life that is causing you pain, but that this will be difficult to do.

If the knife is rusty, then this can suggest that you will be disappointed with someone in the near future, likely a family member or a romantic partner. Seeing a broken knife can suggest that you are trying to complete a goal, but you do not have the tools to finish it.

Knight

If you are becoming a knight, then this can suggest that you want to become a well-respected person. To do this, you will need to learn to respect others.

Seeing a knight in your dreams can suggest that you have a good reputation. If you want to keep this up, then all you have to do is the same as whatever you have been doing to earn such a high social standing.

Knitting

Knitting can represent relaxation in a dream. This either suggests that you are already very relaxed in your waking life, or that you need to find something to do that will allow you to become more relaxed. This could be a prediction of a peaceful domestic life in your near future.

This dream also encourages the dreamer to do something creative in your spare time. You likely have creative energy pent up inside of you, just waiting to come out. Don’t waste it!

Knob

Seeing a knob in your dream can suggest that you are able to manipulate situations easily to get what you want out of them.

Knock

Seeing someone knock on a door changes meaning depending on the mood of the dreamer. If you feel happy during the dream, then this can suggest that a new opportunity will come into your waking life. If you are in a bad mood, then this can predict that bad news will come-a-knocking in your near future.

If you only hear someone knocking at your door, then this can suggest that you need to pay more attention to the things around you in your waking life. You are likely doing something that you are not supposed to, and if you do not pay more attention to your own actions, then you are likely to be reprimanded for it.

Knocker

Using a knocker can suggest that you will need to ask someone for help in the near future. You are likely to encounter a task that you cannot complete on your own.

Knot

Seeing a knot in your dream suggest that you are frustrated about something in your waking life. This is likely a small problem that you do not actually need to worry about. You likely need help to solve a problem that you have had difficulty solving on your own. This is an anxiety or stress dream.

If you are tying a knot in your dream, then this suggests that you do not want to ask for help with anything. You likely see yourself as a highly independent person who can take care of yourself.
